The dining room at the lodges is restricted to guests staying overnight at Bushman Rock. With meals served “al fresco” when possible or in the dining room of the original homestead guests are certain to enjoy their culinary experience.
The best of locally sourced produce is used wherever possible and meals embrace the mixed heritage of Bushman Rock. With traditional English breakfasts served from 0800 to 1000, pool side lunches served off menu and comprising traditional favourites and Zimbabwean delicacy’s and our newly revamped formal three course dinners you can be sure to leave sated and satisfied.
Please do let us know on check in or when booking if you have any food preferences, allergies or dislikes and we will endeavour to create customized meals to meet your needs.
Sitting above the working winery the teak floored restaurant commands spectacular views over the vineyards and lake and looks back into the barrel and fermentation rooms below. Currently The Winery is open on specific dates with “pop-up” functions; mainly over public holidays, where wholesome three course lunches are served from the buffet. With the huge array of activities on offer from wine tastings through to canoeing and walking this is the ideal option for a day trip “break from the city”.
Watch this space as plans are afoot to open an a-la-carte “Greek Grill” restaurant serving sumptuous morning teas and delectable lunches.
