At Bushman Rock Safaris we understand the strains that modern day life can bring and make it our aim to remove all stresses whilst you are with us.

Based in the Bushman Rock Conservation Project we are able to offer guests a unique experience. No day will be the same as we spend our time exploring the granite hills, riding amongst endangered wildlife or picnicking in the caves. Become a part of our vibrant little community as we visit the local school and orphanage, tour the vineyards or perhaps drive our cattle herd through the estate's grasslands. No matter your level of riding ability, we are certain that our horses will provide safe and enjoyable experiences.

Our horses are our pride and we believe that the best way to experience Africa is from horse-back. A closer proximity to wildlife is possible and the exploration of wider horizons, to say nothing of enjoying the 'Sport of Kings', polo. During your stay at Bushman Rock you may well experience a polo day. Our facilities, including competition and arena polo fields make it the ideal place to gain a taste of this amazing co-operation between man and horse. Our experienced and knowledgeable team will be on hand to offer training and assistance. You may well be lucky enough to play chukkas with our Bushman Rock team.

As you sit down to a three-course meal enjoy the backdrop of vineyards adorning the slopes of the Nyamasanga Valley or the pastures and lakes that cover the valley floor. Valley View Lodges offer luxury and seclusion whilst having little adverse effect on the environment. When not riding you are encouraged to take advantage of all our facilities. The central lodge contains a swimming pool, library, sun lounge, drawing room, croquet lawn as well as massage facilities should pampering be required.
